Full Moon in Virgo

Key Words and Ideas

For This Lunation:

  • End of an era

  • Balance spirituality and practicality

  • Be of service

  • Be kind

Expect this to be an extremely powerful Full Moon. It’s taking place just as the planet of hard work and hard facts, Saturn, finally changes signs and moves from Aquarius into Pisces. Saturn is not to be feared because it’s powerful; Saturn makes us stronger and more resilient. However, its sojourn once every 30 years through the sign of Aquarius coincided with the pandemic years we’ve all just lived through. That cycle officially ends now, and hopefully the last vestiges of the pandemic do too.

The Full Moon is in the sign of Virgo, as mentioned, and that’s the sign associated with alternative health. Think about what lessons you’ve learned about your health, and about alternative health treatments, in the past few years. Think about how you could look after yourself better now and into the future.

There could be some confusion in the air this week as the Full Moon takes place. Mars and Neptune are clashing, so you may find that you’re not exactly sure where to put your energy.

If that’s how you’re feeling, here are a few ideas to help, based on the overall energies: make space in your home by decluttering; consider volunteer work of some kind (it’s a great way to meet people with similar values while helping others); sort out an upset with a friend; make a plan to eat more healthily - and stick to it; write up ideas for morning and evening routines; balance your finances; meditate daily; and clean out your fridge.

Make a Spiritual Plan

It may feel counterintuitive to make a plan at Full Moon, since usually we begin things at New Moon. But all the energies this month really do add up to one thing: it’s the ideal time to decide what in your life you need to release to make space for your spiritual pursuits. So make a plan for what you’d like to do spiritually in the coming 2 years. That’s approximately how long plan-loving Saturn will be in the spiritual sign of Pisces. The energy of the Virgo Full Moon is also perfect for careful, long-range planning.

Full Moon Forgiveness and Questions to Ask:

I forgive/release:

What am I holding on to from the past that’s weighing me down?

What is my priority for my spiritual life in the coming 2 years?

Where in my life do I need to be more organized and how would it help?
